Every heart needs hope.

Rescue Ukraine is committed to being the heart and hands of Jesus to our neighbors in Ukraine who are standing tall in the face of unprecedented evil.

But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?

1 John 3:17

Why help Ukraine?

Ukraine has more Christians and more congregations of the churches of Christ than any country in Europe

No country in Europe is more receptive to the gospel than Ukraine. Since the full-scale invasion over 400 souls have been baptized. These are unprecedented numbers for a European nation

This is an unholy, holy war that is being waged in the “Bible Belt” of Europe. God’s family is under constant seige. Essentially every Christian in Ukraine is in harms way. Many have lost everything…except their faith. In occupied territories religious freedoms have vanished. Church buildings and places of religious training have been seized

Christians in over 80 congregations across Ukraine are being “Good Samaritans”—feeding, housing, and sharing Jesus with their besieged countrymen. Christians scattered by war are going throughout an essentially godless Europe “preaching the Word”

As unrelenting missile and drone attacks continue—from an enemy 28 times bigger than Ukraine—the very survival of the Ukrainian nation and the Lord’s church is at stake. Our brothers and sisters need us…our love, our prayers, our tears, and our treasure

Why help Ukraine? Because it’s what our Lord expects of us.
